Ancient Paths: A New Journey

As we journey through life, there are many paths to consider, many ideological maps available to help us find our way.

Consider for a moment an alternative spirituality: ancient orthodox Christianity!  Keep an open mind, and take an unbiased, fresh look at ancient Traditions & timeless Truth that offer answers to current questions & issues.

So many of us are looking for a sense of connectedness and community, significance and meaning – in a world where those qualities are difficult to find.  We believe that our human need for those things is legitimate; and that without developing any spiritual depth in our lives, we loose a significant part of our identity and reason for existence.

At St. Matthew’s we have found that, in our spiritual searches, it is actually God Who has been searching for us!  The True Life we have found in Christ Jesus breaks down the barriers between us and God Almighty.  And by encountering God in Christ, our lives are fulfilled and transformed.

In these troubled and uncertain times, when security and peace of mind are fading or absent from so many people’s lives, the Message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of God to transform human beings by His grace are unchanging

Our core Message is that because of God’s Self-Giving Love for each of us, we do not have to face the future empty-handed.  Nor can we afford to face the days ahead counting on our own human resources and insights alone.

We encourage and invite you to consider being part of our Community as a welcome visitor, to worship with us, to explore the depths of our rich Anglican Tradition, and to learn more about our Faith in the Triune God.

Our Faith and Worship have ancient roots but contemporary fruits.  To learn more, see the What We Believe tab on this web-site.
